About Us

Entrec, established in 2004, has become one of the most established metal recyclers in North Wales, processing a wide range of metals from general ferrous metals, steel girders, machinery, reinforcement and other manufacturing waste to various non-ferrous metals including copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminium and all types of cables.

Our recycling plant in Wrexham occupies a 3.5 acre site on the Wrexham Industrial Estate and currently processes around 20,000 tonnes of metals per year with a major part of this exported to the Far East and Europe.

Entrec are also the main registered Authorised Treatment Facility in the area for recycling of end of life vehicles in accordance with 2003 ELV directive which ensures vehicles are recycled without harm to the environment.

All waste accepted is covered by relevant paperwork to ensure compliance under current legislation and duty of care regulations, and gives our customers the opportunity to have a single contact for disposal of all their different kinds of waste.

We are fully licensed by the Environment Agency Wales under Waste Management Licence EAWML37267 and premises code NIA090 and have a waste carrier licence NOW/270253 issued by the Environment Agency.
