Vehicle De-Pollution
End of life vehicles are full of harmful chemicals that do real damage to our environment. At Entrec we’re carefully removing these harmful chemicals and disposing of them, inline with the governments instructions and regulations.
It is important these vehicles are destroyed at a registered Authorised Treatment Facility so that they can be recycled legally and in the best interests of the environment. Our facilities are fully fitted with the latest specialist equipment to ensure they are able to meet the requirements of the latest legislation.
During the de-pollution process vehicles are safely stripped of their wheels, batteries, fuels, brake and other operational fluids, most of which are either re-used or recycled.
Once a vehicle has been left at Entrec’s site, the vehicle becomes the responsibility of Entrec and will be treated in accordance with all current regulations, ending with the issue of a destruction certificate and registration with the Department and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).
Entrec take our environmental responsibilities very seriously and we work tirelessly to ensure our vehicle de-pollution procedures conform to best practices.
